Kara smiled." i did mean polar bears" the young girl was now embarrassed.(that one was actually my mistake not sure how it happened but it did) "i would love to read those books. but im not a good reader. human words on books are confusing. and i will stick with just hiding from the bullies. they don't like me because i am "perfect" in body ways." the young blonde smiled at both of her new found friends. she liked them both a lot, but she wasn't sure what this whole hand on shoulders meant. maybe it was their form of hugging on earth. Kara loved hugging people it was her fav passing time. she would have hugged the two friends but she wasnt sure if they would yell at her.
" i like you guys you are fun to be around, i hope we can all be best friends."

Kaldur listened to Maxine's story. Cadmus? Her story was much more interesting because it seemed to coincide with his own. It was on the same day, the same place where they had found Superboy. But what really caught Kaldur's attention was that he knew her father or she thought he knew him. "Your father? Have I met him before?" He asked.
It would seem that Kaldur would have to go to Kara's school and have a strong talking to these bullies. Allowing Conner would not be the greatest of ideas if they cared for the bullies safety. "So... What would you two like to do?" He asked curiously. Nothing seemed to be happening today so they had some free time. Doing an activity would be a good way for them all to get to know each other better.

Kaldur looked like he was interested in how Maxine and Frankie met in July 4. For her it was like her first adventure. She blinked a little when he asked if he had met her father before. She rubbed her chin trying to think if there was a moment in which Kaldur and her father could have met. "No I don't think so, I think that if you probably met him please don't tell him about my little "incursion" In Cadmus that summer" said Maxine realizing her mistake. Frankie nodded energetically.
Maxine listened to Kara with a worried expression. "Kara hiding won't help. If you want we can go to have a talk with those bullies so they can leave you alone and as I said before if they kept bullying you ask teachers too to help you and tell us"said Maxine with a serious expression. She just hates bullies. "We are your friends and we'll be there for you for everything"said the red haired girl as she hugged Kara to make her know that they would be there for her. "And if you have doubts with human words you can ask us for any doubts, all of us we'll be glad to help you"said with a grin.
She then looked at Kaldur when he asked what did they want to do. "Well, I'm open for suggestions, for the moment I would like to leave the bags in my room and maybe we could hang around the cave or Happy Harbor I don't know. What do yuo want to do Kara? And you Kaldur?"asked interested Maxine to her two new friends.

Kara looked at them both, "we could um, i dont really know, what do you do thats fun on earth?" the young girl smiled, she had been to the park with Liyang once and that was fun but she didnt want to see the swings again. the blonde girl was joyed to be with the two friends she had made, she hoped that they knew what humans did and how they did it. "we could go out to eat?" she had some money that Conner gave her, she could get some food even thought she would rather get some gummys for later.

So Kaldur did not know her father. He could understand why she did not want her father knowing. It was dangerous. This entire job was dangerous. "Worry not Maxine. Your father shall not find out from me." Kaldur had given his word which he would never go back on. "Does anyone else know that you were also at Cadmus the night were rescued Superboy?"
Kaldur smiled slightly as Maxine hugged Kara. It was nice that most of the new members were getting along well. It meant things would go smoothly during mission... Well, there was no sure way to know that until they actually got a mission. "Happy Harbor sounds good." When it came to activities, Kaldur usually was the one who let someone else choose. He would just tag along.
"So we will head out and find somewhere to eat. We can think of some other activity as we go?" |

"Thanks a lot Kaldur my father knows about me being under training with Red Tornado and he understand it. He was after all one of the first young partners of heroes back when my grandma was the first Red Tornado. But if he finds out about my little "trip" in Cadmus before my powers manifested he would totally got scared. I'm sure that you and him would get along well he is very nice"said Maxine with a smile. Her father was still worried after Morrow Kidnapped her when she was six, although the memories of the experience were still blurry, but that was part of the past and other people had suffered worst than her, so her kidnap wasn't that important in her opinion. He then asked her if somebody knew about her visit in Cadmus in July. "Well I told Red about it and he found it very interesting like you does."said Maxine after thinking about it.
"Going out to eat sounds perfect"said Maxine to Kara with a smile, she had to admit that she was hungry and hanging around Happy Harbor sounds as a good idea. She flew quickly towards her room to leave the bags and came back to the living room. "I can continue with the moving later. I'm ready"said to her friends with a happy expression. Frankie jumped towards the coach and lay down. "I think that Frankie wants to take a nap. Rest well and behave buddy"said Maxine as she gently patted his head. The monkey barely nodded as he closed his eyes. Sometimes Frankie was more like a cat and that thought made Maxine giggle a little. "So do you know where can be go to eat?"asked interested. It was one of her first times in Happy Harbor and she didn't know the city very well.

Kara smiled, she didnt know anywhere to eat, well their was that candy shop at the mall that had good food. "Well their is that candy store at the mall, that place is good." Kara was a candy junkie she adored candy with a burning pashion and she really loved gummies, she had never really had that much human food before so that was all quite strange to her, but seeing she had to earth friends they would be able to show her all about food, and human ways. "well maybe candy isnt a good food, what about this thing called tacos?"
