Kara was lost, she was looking for something called a Hall of Justice, and there she would find Superman, her cousin who was sent to earth before her. Kara made her way down the street with people following her; Kara was scared that she was going to lose control of her powers at anytime. Kara needed someone; anyone to understand that she didn’t know the human ways or how to control her powers. Kara wanted a friend someone she could trust and someone to count on. She finally made her way up to the Hall and waited outside for anyone to show up. The blonde sat on the steps and waited for any of the supers to show up. It was getting late, and the sun was setting. She was still sitting there alone and waiting. She watched as people passed by and noticed how no one cared about her, was this how earth was going to be, careless. Back home Kara was loved, she had her mother and her father.
After she was sent away on the rocket she was stuck in a time laps. Now her baby cousin was older then her, so now she was really alone. Kara kept sitting there alone and helpless.

Conner was in the Hall of Justice starting from the moment that Kara had arrived at the building. The kryptonian had found that, even though the place was a tourist trap, the library itself that pretended to be "headquarters" for the league was actually rarely used since everyone else would simply use Zeta-Beams to get around. In other words, it was a good place for the young man to take a break if he needed it. And today was certainly one that he needed it.
Superboy had been training with his mentor, Kal-El, for a while now, and had gotten used to the elder man's presence. Thanks to this, the two got a fair amount done in way of his training with both Torquasm-Rao and Torquasm-Vo. But it was a long, and arduous, process to say the least.
He had noticed the blonde young woman initially, but had thought nothing of her presence since it was frequent for people to sort of hang out near the building. After she had stood in the same spot a long time, though, it piqued the young man's interest. Exiting the Hall, his identity as Superboy wasn't compromised. It wasn't unusual, after all, for young men to wear a hero symbol on their shirts.
Walking up to the girl from behind, he placed his hand firmly on her shoulder and asked, "are you lost?" It was an unusual action for the genomorph to take, approaching a random bystander who appeared to be lost, but Clark had explained to Conner that he needed to get used to handling new people in the event that he became Superman some day.

A hand touched her shoulder and she jumped a bit in surprise. The voice asked if she was lost. “Well no.” Kara turned around and noticed the big S on his chest. She hugged him tightly, finally a familiar person, “Kal I’m so glad to see you, this place is so scary and I don’t understand.” Kara didn’t really know that this person in front of him was not Kal her cousin. She looked up and noticed it was not Kal but some strange boy that looked like Kal. Kara moved away, and apologized. “I’m sorry fellow kryptonian, but I thought you were Kal, Or as I’ve found out Clark Kent. I’m Kara, his older cousin.” She looked at the boy who was probably family .
(DX im sorry its supershort. Just not sure what to add.)

Conner was off-put at the girl's display of affection, not sure what to make of the odd young woman. The only person who was really ALLOWED to hug him was his girlfriend Megan after all. Then when she called him Kal, the first part of Clark's kryptonian name, Superboy was confused even further. She was some type of kryptonian, but had mistaken Kon-El of Kal-El. His expression was one of confusion as she looked up to him, his blue eyes not having the same softness that was characteristic of the clone's "father".
"I'm Conner," he replied frankly to the girl as she explained her identity, "I'd tell you who I am right now, but it's complicated." Heading back up the steps to the hall he suggested, "you should follow me into the library, we can speak in there."
As he entered the library, Kent took a seat in one of the chairs and waited patiently to see what Kara would do.

Kara followed Conner closely, she was scared of the place, once he sat down she began to look at the room, their was books and chairs and other items she didnt understand. kara walked to the books and ran her fingers along the spines. "i dont understand this writing, and i'm glad you found me." the female kryptonian looked around at everything. the place was nice, she really didnt know where she was. "So this Earth, has more Kryptonians on it? this is good."
Kara was still scared about every thing. she sat across from Conner and smiled at him, she was unsure about what to say to the young man that was sitting across from her, he looked tense but loving, she wanted him to like her.

"It does take getting used to," he said frankly at her talking about not understanding Earth, he was still finding things quite often that were enigmatic to him. Then her presumption made him a bit uncomfortable, "Well..... I'm technically not kryptonian, or at least not from krypton, Superman was cloned and his DNA spliced with a human. That's what created me." It was the short version, but more that sufficient for the conversation they were having. He was unsure how Kara would take this, considering it took the just shy of half a year for Clark to warm up to the idea of him being a clone.
It wasn't so much the case of him needing to like her, their shared inexperience of planet Earth was more than sufficient for him to be able to understand her, but rather if she was willing to accept a kryptonian clone as a member of her family. He had been given a kryptonian name, Kon-El, but he still felt much more at home being called Conner.

(She’s been talking to him in kryptonian by the way.) Kara smiled. “You are still family to me then” Kara looked at him with great happiness. She had never had a family member about the same age as she was. The young blonde began to float away from her chair. “Oh no, not again.” Kara looked at Superboy with confusion and scaredness. Kara didn’t know how to control her powers and she was scared that Superboy would laugh at her. Once Kara hit the ceiling she sighed. “I can’t control my powers and I’m really scared.” Kara watched Conner with her crystal blue eyes, her blonde hair dropping from her face. She was scared and she could feel the heat form from behind her eyes. her eyes were going to do that red blow up thing again.

Conner smiled slightly as she confirmed that he was seen as family to her. He then looked up at the young woman as she floated upwards and got stuck to the ceiling. When she requested help, he then explained, "I can't fly," Kent's eyes then widened as her eyes glowed and leaped up to her, gripping the woman's leg and yanking her down. Covering her eyes firmly with his hand, he hoped that the blasts wouldn't leave holes in his hands, but this was his best bet.

Kara wasnt sure why her powers were out of control, she wasn't in any other emotion other then happy, and as long as she was happy her powers never lost control. she was now safe in Conner's arms and his hand over her eyes. the blonde closed her eyes and tried to figure out what was wrong with herself, only problem was she was fine, their was nothing wrong with her. She just lost control. "Thank you cousin." soon her eyes stopped and her need to float also stopped leafing the girl normal, well as normal as a kryptonian was in the human world.
(human...kryptonian)

"It happens," Conner responded comfortingly in kryptonian. When she managed to right herself onto the ground, the kryptonian cautiously removed his hand from her eyes.
"Much of what you need in order to not lose control is focus...." As he said this, the young man offered taking Kara to the Zeta-beam to register her. This would allow the young woman to go to Mt. Justice so that they might obtain some food.

Kara was confused on what he was doing. so the blonde lightly took his hand so she wouldn't get lost. "dont leave me Conner." the blondes voice was scared and full of lonlyness. he had become her knew ideal of parent or older sibling. and the last thing she wanted was for him to leave her. "i wont do it again, just please dont leave me" the blondes eyes began to leak water, to the thought of being alone.
