The day was a long one, Kara had learned many things about life. she learned that penguins also live in the desert and that she cant play doge ball. the blonde girl put her books in her locker and grabbed her back pack. "oh my there is a cute boy out side," Kara wasn't sure what that meant so she thought she would check it out, seeing that the joker busted in to Wallys school she was scared that it would happen here. Kara made her way to the frount of the school and looked around, no one was there so the blonde made her way to the back and their he was covered with girls galore and all the guys wanting to be him. Kara didnt understand what was going on.
"Kara over here!" Kara pushed her way thought the crowed and pushed out to the middle where the boy was, it was Kevin, her friend who she had met a week ago. "BLUE!" Kara hugged him lighlty but close. "what are you doing here?"

Kevin, or as he liked to be called, Sonic, was standing outside of Happy Harbor high school, waiting for his new friend to get out so they could hang for the day. He figured why not, he was bored after getting out of his own school, so he decided to zip here to see Kara at supersonic speed! What he didn't expect however, was to get mauled by all these women while he waited. It was the hair wasn't it? It had to be the hair, it was irresistible to the ladies! "Now, now ladies. Don't fight. There's enough Sonic to go around!" He wouldn't lie, he was loving this attention! Probably more than he should've been.
He glanced up and saw who he had come here to see in the first place. He called out to her and waved to get her attention, hoping she'd see him over crowd of women vying for his attention. "Hey Blondie!" He grinned, returning her hug happily. "Oh nothing. I was in the neighborhood and decided to drop in on ya. Did ya have any plans for the rest of the day?" |

Kara smiled, she wasnt use to people wanting to hang out with her, but then again it was only a month of her being on earth. she was free, she was always free. "no i don't have anything planed, do you have anything in mind that you wanted to do?" Kara was happy that her friend blue had come to see her. She wanted to have more friends, and she did feel bad that Conner didn't like blue or sparky for that fact. Kara took blues hand and smiled. "sure enough the freak would think she owns him" a girl about 10 ft away whispered to another and Kara removed her hand and looked down at her feet. she couldn't help but wonder why everyone at school was so mean to her.

He scratched his chin in thought for a moment. "We could always go grab a bite to eat or somethin' and go from there?" He suggested with a grin. He hadn't eaten since lunch at school, and that didn't hold him for long, so he was pretty hungry! He smiled brightly as Kara grabbed his hand, his smile quickly turning into a frown upon hearing the random female's snide remark and Kara's reaction to it. " This 'freak', happens to be my friend! So shut yer trap lady!" He responded hotly, sending Kara an apologetic smile. "Hey, don't let her get to you. You can hold my hand if you wanna, I don't mind."

Food sounded good to the young kryptonian girl, she hadn't ate all day. The school food was gross, and she had ran out of gummys. the young blonde took Kevins hand again and led him away from the school befoer he could make her school life worse. "im sorry but im not really liked around here." the girls voice came out scared. she hated school, the human words confused her and the way they did things confused her. the only subject she liked was biology. the study of animals was her subject. "i would love to get some food with you blue."

"No need to apologize, kids are jerks these days. Especially your own peers." He shrugged it off. He had to deal with his own bullies in his own school, but he knew how to shut 'em down quickly so they tended not to mess with him so much anymore. "You okay, Kara?" He asked, his voice laced with concern as she led him away from the jeering school girls. "You would? Awesome! Where do ya wanna go? Since you're the girl, you get to pick, and it's on me. I got some extra cash from helpin' my neighbors out last weekend!"

Kara looked at him, she hadnt know much about human foods she had survived the month on earth with gummys. "Blue i dont know food, and seeing that you and wally are a lot alike, do you like eating too? maybe you can show me places and teach me about human foods?" kara was always eager to learn things about the humans and how they work. she craved to be more human then she was. the blonde girl didnt really like feeling strange.
the two of them headed twords the places with food. their was much to pick from, Italian, Chinese American Mexican. kara was scared that none of the paces were as good as kryptonian food.
