Kara walked to the beach, she figured it was a nice place to meet up with both the wonderful men in her life, well seps batman, superman, blue, auqalad, and the rest of the boys who were in her life. This was a meting between Conner, her older loving protective brother who loved his little sister to death and only wanted what was best for her, and Liyang, her loving adorable boyfriend who was always their for her when she needed him. it would have been the perfect day at the beach but their was a small problem, well a very big problem. Conner didnt like Liyang, he never did. the young girl was in her swim suit that nicely fit her body. she also had one of liyangs shirst she had stolen from him on.
The young blonde sat and waited for her boys to show up. she was mostly very scared of what was going to happen, she didnt want a big sceen so she gave both of the boys a map to the small hidden beach that was away from the other side of the beach, she had found it her first time to the beach where she met a blonde girl. but that was a story for another day. kara looked at the shadow that stood behind her and let out a bright smile "Hi. im glad you found my hidden place." the young blonde said with a smile hugging the boy figure.

A gift... I need a gift. Ah! I don't know what he likes! No, no, no! It's not like I'm marrying Kara so I don't need a gift, right? Besides, he's not her dad. He's her brother...Cousin... One of the two.
Liyang Yoon paced back and forth, lost in his own thoughts. Everything in his right mind was telling him to leave. No matter what Liyang would say it would all come to the same conclusion; Conner disliking him. Running away would not change anything. Liyang had to stand strong for Kara and their relationship. As long as Kara would have him, Liyang did not plan on going anywhere. He was wearing a shirt with the logo of his favorite band, some cargo shorts, and sandals.
You would never catch him in a bathing suit. He dislike the beach and he dislike the water even more. Well, big bodies of water. Liyang was already at the beach, arriving a good thirty minutes before so that he wasn't late. "Let's go get this over with Liyang," He said to himself, "At least it's a nice day." He walked down the beach, slowly dragging his feet in the sands.
Upon arriving he saw Kara and a smile fell on his face. Still, why did she have to choose a place away from the public's eyes? "I'll always find you love," He responded, "You have my heart and I can't live without it." Oh man, that was too cheesy. Liyang wanted to kick himself in the face for even thinking that line. He placed his arms around her. "... That's my shirt. Well, it does look better on you," He said, "I bet you'll look beautiful in anything." |

Conner approached Kara, and her useless boyfriend, hand in hand with his own girlfriend M'gann. He had asked the girl to come with him because he didn't want to be stuck alone with the two for fear that me might end up killing someone. After an encounter with the young man during which he ran from Kara when she lost control of her heat vision briefly, leading Kent to the conclusion that he was a weakling coward.
Hands intertwined with M'gann's, Kent carried most of the beaching supplies under his other arm. Today he had elected to go shirtless since the sunlight was pounding down pretty hard. The Kryptonian didn't really trust his things alone in the Mountain where Wally could pull pranks, so, he had loaned it to M'gann for her to wear. Smiling and kissing her shoulder softly he commented, "you make that look great you know." Before continuing towards the destination.
Soon enough, they reached the destination, where Kent coughed to let them know they had arrived, and shot a glare of daggers at Yoon.

Kara snuggled in to liyang, she was so glad he came, and she loved his cheesy lines they were cute. she looked up at liyang and smiled her big smile. then Conner came up. she was glad, then she saw M'gann. She had liked M'gann, they were ok friends, seeing that M'gann often mommies Kara. but this angered Kara, she wanted a day with her brother and her boyfriend, a time to tell Conner they were dating and he brings m'gann. karas eyes went from a loving to a hate for the young alien girl. kara glared at m'gann with her deadly glare that she only used when she was mad. Kara lightly pushed her way away from liyang and looked at conner giving him the same look but a little more loving. " hi conner.....hello Megan."

M'gann walked with Conner wearing his shirt along with her swim suit. she was glad that Kara and Conner wanted to spend time with her. as the young martian and her kryptonian boyfriend walked up to the cutness of Kara and liyang M'gann made out a smile. she thought it was nice that kara wanted to have a couples day. or as the humans called it a double date. then Kara looked at M'gann with a dirty look. she felt like a traspaser, is this how the young boy felt when conner was being mean. the young martian sighed. this was going to be a hard bad day. "H-hello kara, hello liyang."

It would have been nice if they had just a little more alone time. Even if they were doing absolutely nothing Liyang could still have fun. He just simply enjoyed being in Kara's presence. The moment was short lived when Conner and M'Gann had already arrived. This would be his first time meeting M'Gann, but he had heard about her from Kara. He had to admit, M'Gann was beautiful. Of course not as beautiful as Kara. Even without looking at Conner, Liyang could feel him glaring. This is gonna be a long day..."
"Ah, hey..."
Liyang could feel the sudden change in Kara's vibe. Even if you were blind you could see that Kara was upset with M'Gann for some reason. This, this was awkward. There was the dude that dislike him, a girl he did not know, and Kara... The clearly unhappy girlfriend. He rubbed the back of his neck for a moment, wondering what he should do. "So... It's nice to actually meet you, M'Gann," He said, smiling.
He offered both his hands for a proper handshake, slightly bowing his head in the process. It would have done the same with Conner, but he was sure Conner wouldn't accept it. |

"Hello Kara," Conner replied, noting her expression, somewhat understanding her idea of the situation having three. But the kryptonian knew that if he didn't have his own girlfriend acting as a buffer, there would be no certainty as to whether or not Kent would kill Liyang. The only question there would have been at that point would be in what manner the electrokinetic WOULD be killed.
Looking to his girlfriend he smiled, enjoying the sight of her in his shirt. It was flirtatious and adorable to a massive degree. Keeping his arm around the gir's waist, Conner, held back the temptation to sneak a kiss for the girl.
Kent then glared at Liyang as he felt that the other boy was checking out M'gann. An action that made the young man extremely uncomfortable, pulling her closer to himself in a show of attachment.
The intentional witholding of an offer for a handshake towards him only served to worsen the situation, offending the alien. With a great amount of self-control, Conner, ignored the action. It wouldn't take much more before the kryptonian attacked Yoon.

Kara sighed and hugged on Liyang. she wasnt going to be upset for long but now she just wanted a hug. their was more important things to worry about them M'gann. Kara snuggled in to Liyang. Today was going to be a good day. and thats what was going to happen. she would make it a good day. "Megan do you want to go swimming?" Kara smiled in hopes of making things better.

"you can call me Megan Liyang. And i have herd a lot about you. Kara seems every fond of you." Megan took Liyang's hand lightly and shook it then looked at Conner. she knew he wasn't fond of the blonde boy. Megan took conners hand and held it close to her. she adored him and wanted nothing more then to see him happy. then Kara asked her to go swimming. this would be a great time for Conner and Liyang to ether join them or talk to each other. "I would love to Kara, and im sorry for intruding on your beach day."
Kara smiled. "Its ok M'gann i didnt mean to get all snappy. i just wanted a good time and im sure we can have a great time together."

Liyang smiled slightly as M'Gann shook his hand. She seemed way more accepting then Conner. Now he could not help but think how someone like Conner ended up with M'Gann. The only side of Conner that Liyang has seen was him being a jerk. Maybe there was something more, there had to be, right? Of course Liyang returned Kara's embrace by hugging her tightly. He loved little moments like these. "Megan? Alright. I can do that," He smiled, "I'm lucky that Kara accepted me."
Things were going well now or as well as they could be going. Kara seemed to be in a much happier mood now and that was always a plus. Liyang dropped his embrace with Kara so that she could swim with Megan. He placed his hands in his pants as he watched them, wanting to do nothing more than avoid a conversation with Conner. He had to make an effort at least for Kara's sake. "Nice weather we're having, huh," He rubbed his head, "You're gonna swim?" |
