Powers and or Abilities
Zatanna has the magical abilities just like her mother and father. For her magic to work Zatanna has to say the words backwards or the magic won’t work. To make her magic work and to say the words right Zatanna needs full concentration. If she says one word wrong the spell will end up doing something else backfiring on Zatanna. It takes energy for her to use her magic as well.
With the training she had she was able to force people to speak, create illusions, control the elements, create shields, summon objects, and locate other sources of magic. Of course Zatanna has yet to master her powers just yet. There are still things she needs to learn and all she could do is practice and save people. Also she can change her clothing when she needs to with her powers.
As well as being magical she could feel when something is wrong with those around her. Either she would say something when they are alone or she would bring it up with the others near her. Just in case something was wrong the others would have been able to help.

Zatanna was a rebellious at times. When she wasn’t she was on hell of a carrying person. She was fun, loving, always made sure people were okay girl. Zatanna will sneak out of the house. She never did mind sneaking around when her father was around. Also she could be a big flirt. Since she was a big one with Robin when she first meet him.
Things went south after the day she had to put on Fate’s helmet and lost her father. From there on she always had a sad face when she wasn’t around her friends. Alone she would sleep with tears in her eyes. That was one thing she couldn’t get over. It helped though that from time to time Robin would help her out. After the loss of her father she had become protective over the her friends

History
Zatanna is the daughter of Giovanni and Sindella. When her mother vanished Zatanna was raised only by her father.
When Zatanna got older enough Giovanni wanted her to train with Black Canary. Finding her Zatara had to go to the Cave. There Zatara introduced Zatanna to the Young Justice Team. Zatanna at first really didn’t know how she liked the team for they were having a psychic conversation and called them on it. Zatara wanted to talk to Black Canary so he asked the team to show his daughter around the Cave. Of course that didn’t work out. The team wanted to find Red Tornado and Zatanna told them she would go if the kidnaped her. That was her first mission with the team and enjoyed it. Even they got back Zatara had told her she was grounded. Zatanna had been with the team helping them even if her father was not to fond of that. After having the ordeal of losing her dad because she had to put on Doctor Fate’s helmet which her body was trade for her father’s body. She became full time with the team.
Zatanna saw them as her family and friends. Everything was going well for them all sure some up and downs but nothing that wasn’t fixed over a few minutes. Things gotten worse though when a training session was going on. One session Zatanna wasn’t a part of but was there after things went down. Getting back she noticed the team was splitting up. Zatanna had pulled Robin to the side wondering what was going and he explained to her and left. Zatanna was lost and confused at this time. Packing her stuff from her room she turned to the life of performing.
Zatanna still helped people since she was a hero but without a home or a place to stay she had to make money and fast. So she began to travel all over the world performing magic tricks. She stayed close to the homes of her friends just to make sure they were all okay.
Sample Roleplay
Zatanna was moving around walking through her hotel room. She had packed up and was headed to Gotham for another show. She was glad to leave and head back to Gotham. It had been almost a year since she had been there. To be able to check up on Robin and Batgirl to see if they are doing good. Of course she kept herself hidden from them if she ever saw them. The problem was it was always hard for her to hid herself from the other heroes. Since she didn’t know who they really were. Since she didn’t wear a mask or changed her name everyone knew who she was. Her hand rested on her bag as memories came back of the happy times with the team and her father she began to cry. Falling to the grown she placed her knees up to her chest and just tried to calm down. Once done she got up and looked at her bags with a smile she took a deep breath.
“Egnahc esehe owt gib sgab otni llams yek sniahc. (Change these two big bags into small key chains)” Seeing her bags go small Zatanna smiled. Picking them up she placed them on her keychain. Zatanna was getting better with her magic. Every show she did every time she saved someone it felt as if she was getting stronger.
Walking down the stairs and headed to the lobby. Giving the key and the last of her money she smiled and walked off. Looking at the flyer she was given to the show in Gotham. Taking a deep breath she figured that this time she would try to go there by magic and not by flying no by teleporting. Normally Zatanna wouldn’t try to teleport herself to far but it was time to see how much she could push her powers.

Closing her eyes she felt very weak at the moment. “Can’t be doing that too much.” She said to herself. Walking in to the hotel she told them who she was and said after the show she would pay which they agreed since they had done business with her before. She slowly walked to her room and looked out the window. Looking out she could see the outskirts of town. With a smile she figured that she could try to do the teleport once more.
