Powers and or Abilities
Claws: On each of his five-fingered hands are hardened claws where his finger-nails would typically grow. These are dense enought to allow him to rip through metal, when combined with his Superhuman Strength.
Superhuman Strength and Durability: The muscle, and bone, matter that compromises Atrocitus's body is inherently more dense than any other humans. Previously he has been shown to rip apart steel with little effort.
Red Power Ring: Stolen through unknown means by Cadmus, this Green Lantern Ring responded and "mutated" to John Stewart's mutated DNA that is present in Atro's body. The object changed completely in terms of form, color, and powers.
-Rage Plasma: A blood-like material, the ring allows Atrocitus to spit it from a gland secreted by his heart. It is a mix of acid and napalm, that ignites on fire when it makes contact with non-gaseous matter. An unknown third element also exists in the plasma that ignites a living thing's blood as well and drives them into a bout of rage. It can also deplete lantern construct and corrupt their rings.
-Energy Projection: Atrocitus can create blasts of energy with his ring that can fire at will, and seem to have similar effects to other energy constructs and rings in a manner similar to the plasma.
-Red Energy Construct: Red Lantern is able to create constructs similar to those crafted by a Green Lantern. The strength of these constructs are directly connected to how filled with rage he is filled with, much like Will with the true Oan rings. This power requires extreme amounts or rage and mastery to create, hence they cannot create as complex or numerous constructs.
-Force-Field: A type of contruct that is constant, it creates an optimal environment for the wearer to exist within, and protects him from all incoming attack that cannot overcome his rage.
-Flight: Through manipulation of anti-gravitons and molecular movement, Atros is able to fly at trans-light speeds.
-Rage Empowerment: All powers utilized by this ring are enhanced based on the amount of rage the wearer feels.
-Life-support: This ring performs all the necessary functions that the being's true heart does, and allows a new gland in the orignal organ to be regrown in the event of severe damage.
-Security Protocol: This ring can only be used by Atrocitus and those he dictates.
-Ring Creation: Atros is able to create other Red Power rings identicle to this one, though the wearer must be corrupted for it to become activated.
Red Power Ring Mastery: Atrocitus can use his ring to such great effect he can make Energy Constructs, something most Red Lantern's are incapable of summoning the concentration to do.
Oan Energy Immunity: The basis of his creation allows him to become resistant to the effects of Oan energy, but only to the degree that an average rookie lantern cannot directly harm him.
Boundless Rage: His rage is endless, or his capacity is. While it takes a while for him to generate it, Atrocitus is theoretically capable of creating sufficient rage to destroy and move planet. Though if he were to reach this level he would lack sufficient self-awareness to do so.

Personality
Atrocitus is the most rage-filled being in the universe, with no exception, making him the perfect leader of the Red Lantern Corps. While he has a great, and constant, fountain of anger, the alien is perfectly capable of rational thought. Though he is primarily concerned with his own designs and power, the lantern still displays many qualities of leadership. As the Red Lantern with the most capacity to control his rage, Atroctius is often feared as one of the most dangerous beings in the known galaxy. He holds a programmed hate for all Green Lanterns, but a particular one for John Stewart.
History
Before Cadmus had been able to develop perfect clones, they attempted to create a Green Lantern that would be capable of defeating the two members of The League that utilized the weapons. When the clone was made, though, it mutated into a beastial form, though it was still survivable, and the project was re-named Project Atrocious.
But one day, when the creature was given a pilfered Oan Power Ring, the machine's security system mutated in response to the clone's mutated DNA which caused the device itself to adjust itself to the beast's inherent rage. Flying into space as soon as it got the chance, it renamed itself "Atrocitus" in response to mishearing the project name he was given. Pursued by Green Lanterns across the galaxy, the clone has learned to utilize the ring to its fullest potential. Now he has returned to The Milky Way to destroy the Green Lantern John Stewart.
